Google is celebrating the 77th anniversary of Cinecittà with a wonderful doodle. Cinecittà is the most famous film studio in Europe and it was founded in the outskirts of Rome in 1937.

Did you know that since the 1950s many big Hollywood movies were shot here? These include epic historical movies, action movies and spaghetti westerns! BBC also shot its award-winning drama Rome at Cinecittà although most of the set has now been destroyed because of a fire.

Let's celebrate the 77th anniversary of Cinecittà by watching some of the biggest movies shot there. Here is a few:
