The fans of the popular US TV series How I Met Your Mother met 'the mother' at the end of season 8. In the final season it is now the time for Ted to meet the mother. Channel 4 aired the first episode of the long awaited final season on 6th February 2014 and as always it is available on 4oD - Channel 4’s on demand site.
The final season, starring Joshua Radnor (Ted), Jason Segel (Marshall), Alyson Hannigan (Lily), Cobie Smulders (Robin), Neil Patrick Harris (Barney), and Cristin Milioti (the Mother), will take place in Farhampton Inn and cover the events during Robin and Barney’s wedding weekend. The mother will appear as the lead of the wedding band. This season will also include lots of flashbacks and flashforwards to tell us who the mother really is.
