The second season of ITV's popular series Mr Selfridge started on Sunday, 19 January, and it looks like viewers are again loving the show with 5.43 million viewers watching the first episode.

This year, however, there is also a special surpise for those fans of the show who can't wait until the broadcast day to watch it...

ITV airs the show every Sunday at 9PM, but it has also announced that it will also make every episode available to download at iTunes 3 days before it airs on TV. That means you can watch it before everyone else on Thursday! This is the first time ITV is releasing a show online before it's broadcast.

The period drama takes place in 1914, when Selfridges celebrates its fifth year of trading. However, Mr Selfridge, who is played by Jeremy Piven, now needs to consider the possibility of war in the horizon.

And we think that viewers who enjoy Mr Selfridge will also enjoy previous seasons of BBC's The Paradise which is based on Emile Zola's novel The Ladies Paradise that revolves around the lives of the people who live and work in a department store at end of the 19th century.
